Felicity Montagu is returning to play Lynn in This Time With Alan Partridge.

Following news last week that filming had begun on This Time With Alan Partridge for BBC One, it has now been announced that Alan’s loyal assistant Lynn will feature in the new show.

The six-part series will see Alan handed a career lifeline – the chance to stand in, temporarily, as the co-host of This Time, an evening weekday magazine show.

As well as Felicity Montagu returning to play Lynn, Tim Key will reprise his role as Simon ‘formerly Sidekick Simon’ Denton and Susannah Fielding will be Alan’s co-presenter Jennie Gresham.

This Time With Alan Partridge from Baby Cow Productions has been written by Neil Gibbons, Rob Gibbons and Steve Coogan, and is also being directed by the Gibbons brothers.
