Songs for the Apocalypse

As our impending doom approaches, it’s good to know some people have us covered, as Jonny & the Baptists have unleashed a brand new long-player to see us through the end of days, and it is already available to buy right now. After all, time is ticking!
Entitled Songs for the Apocalypse, the duo’s sixth album is also their first to be recorded in a fully fledged studio, and sees Jonny Donahoe and Paddy Gervers revisit tracks from across their career to date with a fully fledged band.
Featuring musical contributions from Rob Sell, Alice Bonifacio, Loz Garratt, Tom Worrall, GEorge Hogg, LAurie Havelock, Tom Kay, Daniel Thomas, Josh Middleton, Sam Odiwe, Michael Kamara and Seth Tackaberry, the album features seminal classics such as Not A Pub, Let’s Bury Thatcher, Do It in the Library and the sublime When You Grow Up, and the best part is – it’s available now!
The album is, as usual, up for sale on the pair’s Bandcamp site, where it can be purchased as MP3 and a variety of lossless formats for a measly £10, or on a limited edition gatefold CD for only £12.
You can also listen to the whole album via the special app below – but if you like it, you have to promise us you’ll buy it, or we’ll set the swans on you…
