Adam Kay is going on a book tour to talk about his bestselling medical memoir This Is Going To Hurt.

This Is Going To Hurt is an often hilarious, at times horrifying and occasionally heartbreaking diary of a former junior doctor, which tells the story of why he decided to hang up his stethoscope for good.

Following the book’s success, a TV series might be on the cards and Adam is now also working on a second book, provisionally titled 100 Patients Who Changed My Life, further drawing from his experiences of working in the NHS.
