Action Team Teaser
A short teaser has been released for new ITV2 comedy Action Team, starring Tom Davis and Jim Howick.
Action Team is a spoof spy action-thriller following a top-secret team of British secret agents charged with saving the world. The cast includes Tom Davis (Murder In Successville), Jim Howick (Stag), Kayode Ewumi (#HoodDocumentary) and Laura Checkley (Detectorists). It has been written by Tom Davis and director James De Frond (Murder In Successville).
ITV’s commissioner Saskia Schuster has previously described the show as “The Naked Gun meets The Bourne Identity” and Tom Davis has commented: “Every year I sit there as the bookies predict who they think will play the next James Bond and I’m always left off the list, so I’ve decided to do something about it.”
The teaser reveals that we can expect to see Action Team on ITV2 in March…
