Sarah Kendall is to take her 2017 Edinburgh Fringe show One-Seventeen on tour across the UK in the Summer.
The tour follows four incredibly successful years back at the Edinburgh fringe after Kendall ended her stand-up sabbatical in 2015 and began her new life as a storyteller, prompting an Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination and a spin-off radio series for good measure.
One-Seventeen continued in the vein of Kendall’s previous Australian Trilogy, but took a time-hopping sideways glance at both childhood and motherhood from the perspective of three generations of Sarah’s family, all wrapped up around a couple of key events that evolved from a fascination with outer space. As we said of the show in the summer: it’s “a brand new beast that will make you laugh, might make you cry, and quite probably will make you cry laughing, laugh crying, or some other combination of the two. Kendall is at the top of her game, and she’s never been more vital.”
The show will be making a five night stop-off at London’s Soho Theatre from 15th-19th May 2018, with tickets on sale for those dates over yonder, before heading out across the UK for a series of dates in June.
At the time of writing 9 further dates have been announced, but keep your eyes on Ents24’s profile page for Sarah in case more are added at a later date. These are as follows:
