Back in the Big Field
BBC Three mini-comedy Big Field is back for a third series, once again with a big ol’ bundle of TVO talent on board.

For the uninitiated, the show is the brainchild of Darren Dutton and Jonny Roberts, and mixes sound from popular TV programmes with live action sequences – all set in a field, using cheap props bought from auction websites.
Beginning life as a YouTube pilot in 2015, Series One was released in the summer of 2016 and featured TVO regulars including Lucy Montgomery, Tony Way, Shelley Longworth and Alex Lowe. Series Two followed in April of this year, and featured the inimitable Marek Larwood (We Are Klang, Sorry I’ve Got No Head) alongside a returning Tony Way, plus Murder in Successville‘s Liam Hourican, plus Alison Ward and Evelyn Mok.
Now the show’s back for a third run, once again featuring Marek Larwood, Tony Way and Alex Lowe, and in the debut episode The One Show, Larwood and Way play Jeremy Corbyn and Ed Sheeran who are duetting on The One Show. Fellow TVOer Ellie White makes her debut in the series as Alex Jones in this episode for good measure. You can see it for yourself below.
Further episodes will take on The Apprentice, Masterchef, Len Goodman’s Partners In Rhyme, Loose Women, University Challenge, Jeremy Kyle’s Emergency Room, Graham Norton, This Morning and Love Island, and will be available via BBC Three (and YouTube) every Friday from now until February.
