Inside No. 9 returns to BBC Two on Tuesday 2nd January and some preview images have now been released.

Above is the cast image for opening episode ‘Zanzibar’ which all takes place on floor 9 of a hotel. Along with Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith, the cast includes Rory Kinnear, Hattie Morahan, Bill Paterson, Marcia Warren, Tanya Franks, Kevin Eldon, Helen Monks and Jaygann Ayeh.

The second episode of the new series ‘Bernie Clifton’s Dressing Room’ is about an old comedy double act reuniting for one last show after 30 years apart. This episode is mostly a two-hander, with Sian Gibson making a brief appearance.

The fourth episode ‘To Have and To Hold’ revolves around a couple having marital problems, while the titles of the two remaining episodes are listed as ‘Tempting Fate’ and ‘And the Winner Is…’ but little is known about these so far.

If you’d like to watch any past episodes in the meantime, the BBC is putting Inside No. 9 series 1, 2 and 3 on iPlayer from 16th December. And of course, Reece and Steve can be seen in new episodes of The League of Gentlemen airing on 18th, 19th and 20th December.
