Paul King and Simon Farnaby‘s #1 box-office smash Paddington 2 is now available to pre-order on DVD, Blu-Ray, 4K Blu-Ray and Amazon Instant Video.
Once again starring Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent and Peter Capaldi, with Ben Wishaw as the voice of Paddington, the film also features Hugh Grant as the villainous Phoenix Buchanan, Brendan Gleason as hardened convict Knuckles McGinty, and supporting roles for some of the finest comic talent in the UK, including Sanjeev Bhaskar, Ben Miller and TVO regulars Jessica Hynes, Tom Davis, Justin Edwards and the aforementioned Mr Farnaby.
Written by Paul & Simon, with Paul also in the director’s chair, the film is currently wowing audiences following a hugely positive critical response, and posted phenomenal figures for its opening week in the UK, scoring the 12th biggest opening of 2017, as 42% of all box office takings across the UK on its opening weekend were to see the film, netting a cool £8.26 million – a 59% increase from the opening box-office of the first film.
Naturally, with enormous success like this, it’s only natural that pre-orders would open for the film (particularly because Amazon Video were a key funding partner), so while a release date has yet to be confirmed, there’s a bevy of options available already.

A DVD edition can be pre-ordered for £9.99, whilst the blu-ray is available for £14.99. If you’re more into super-swanky 4K presentations, then you can pre-order a 4K blu-ray for £24.99. And if you’d rather be disc-free, then the film is available for pre-order on Amazon Instant Video for £13.99 in HD or £9.99 in SD.
If you haven’t yet picked up the first film, then a double pack will be available on DVD and blu-ray. If you really can’t wait to see the original again, then that’s also still available on DVD and blu-ray, and a budget-priced limited-edition steelbook was recently released to tie-in with the new film, and can be ordered for a limited time for just £7.98.
