Christmas is just around the corner, and with it comes a very special gift: as former The Fast Show regular Tommy Cockles is returning for one night only for the festive season with a unique live event: Tommy Cockle’s Xmas Cracker Extravaganza.
The star of Music Hall and Variety, whose opinions on his contemporaries formed a key part of the seminal 90s series, has been coaxed out of retirement for one night only by his old friend Simon Day, returning after 25 years away for a comedy night of a thousand stars.
The show takes place on Wednesday 20th December at the legendary 100 Club on Oxford Street in central London. Promising many surprise acts alongside impressionist Lewis Macleod and Oliver Harris as Elvis Presley, it’s guaranteed to be the best night out this Christmas.
Tickets for the one-off event are on sale now, priced £18, and can be ordered over yonder.
Don’t forget, following a successful UK tour earlier this year, Simon Day will also be taking his friends Billy Bleach, Geoffrey Allerton, Tony Beckton and Brian Pern back out on the road for more In Character dates in the Spring. Keep your eyes on Ents24 for more details. In the meantime, here’s some vintage Tommy Cockles from the early 90s to whet your appetites.
