Brakes Screening And Cast Q&A

Brakes, the brilliant back-to-front movie about relationships which features a smorgasbord of TVO talent, will be coming to our cinema screens soon, accompanied by cast Q&As.

Described as an “anti-rom com”, and produced with a wonderful punk aesthetic, Brakes features fantastic improvised performances from a star-studded ensemble cast that includes Noel Fielding, Julian Barratt, Julian Davis, Steve Oram, Seb Cardinal and writer/director/actor Mercedes Grower, alongside a whole host of other screen legends.

So far the film has garnered rave reviews during its festival run, and this cinema release will give more people the opportunity to see it. Take a look at our review if you need any more reasons to want to go!

It all kicks off on Friday 24th November with a screening and cast Q&A at Picturehouse Central near London’s Picadilly Circus. For more information about this event and to grab tickets click here (but be quick, they won’t last for long…the previous London screening of Brakes at LOCO sold out!).

The next  screening and Q&A will take place on Sunday 26th November at the Rio Dalston (online booking isn’t yet available, but keep your eyes peeled). The other events around the country are being arranged as we I’m writing this, so we suggest you follow @Brakes_film on twitter to find out where and when, as dates are announced.
We’ll see you there!

  1. Is this going to be shown anywhere in South Wales? Love the subject, the low budget and the cast.
