Justin Edwards and Rachel Parris are on a star-studded bill for the next edition of The Distraction Club at London’s The Pheonix in early November.
While he’s not “one of ours”, we here at TVO unreservedly adore Mitch Benn: a true talent and a fine gentleman, and indeed, we’ve raved about his live shows whenever we’ve had a legitimate opportunity to do so. His regular monthly comedy night, The Distraction Club, regularly sells out thanks to a combination of brilliant line-ups and Benn’s loyal following, so you’ll want to get tickets early for the next one on Tuesday 7th November.
Joining Mitch and his band The Distractions are none other than Ealing Live veteran and TVO legend Justin Edwards, fresh from his role in The Death of Stalin and just ahead of his appearance in forthcoming movie The Man Who Invented Christmas. It’s rare to see Justin perform live these days, so that in itself makes this a must-see event for anyone who can make it.
Not only that, but also on the bill is musical comedian and improv-genius Rachel Parris, currently in the midst of a nationwide tour with Austentatious. Along for the ride are fellow stand-ups Tom Haughton and Matt Blair, musical comic Wilson Dixon and the living legend that is Rich Hall – truly the cherry atop this pretty damn fine comedy cake!
Tickets are available now for just £8.80, and as mentioned, they will sell out, so get in while you can!
