Katy Brand on RHLSTP
Katy Brand is the latest guest on Richard Herring’s Leicester Square Theatre Podcast, or as the cool kids are calling it RHLSTP.

© Suki Dhanda/Observer New Review
Katy talks Richard through her beginnings in TV production, which included working as a runner for Julian Clary, as well as her heavily religious teenage years. She mentions her time as part of Ealing Live and discusses her rather quick rise to success with Katy Brand’s Big Ass Show and the reasons why she decided to end it after three series. The conversation also covers her move into stand-up, her various roles in Psychobitches, her book Brenda Monk is Funny and, as is customary for RHLSTP, Brian Blessed.
