The Ghoul is in UK cinemas and available on-demand now, and to celebrate, The Velvet Onion is offering you the chance to win a pair of tickets to a very special screening and Q&A event tomorrow night in London!
Gareth Tunley‘s debut film, starring Tom Meeten, Alice Lowe, Dan Skinner, Rufus Jones and Geoffrey McGivern is a tightly packed, emotionally charged, supernaturally intense psychological thriller, which you can see across the UK in the coming weeks, as well as on demand now, and on dvd and blu-ray from September.
On Thursday 10th August, it will be screened at hmvCurzon Wimbledon, with crew members grilled by none other than fellow TVO regular, genius film director and sublime character comedian Steve Oram.
Regular readers will know, of course, that Steve – now best known for directing and starring in Aaaaaaaah! and co-writing and starring in Sightseers – is Tom Meeten’s regular double-act partner, and a frequent collaborator with most of the film’s cast dating back to the Ealing Live beginnings of the collective we write about here at TVO.
Thanks to the good folk at Arrow Films, The Velvet Onion is able to offer five people a pair of tickets for the event, and all you have to do to be in with a chance of winning, is to pop over to Twitter and retweet the tweet below:
Five winners be selected at random at 12pm on Thursday 10th August, and notified by 2pm that same day via Direct Message to arrange their prizes. Naturally, and unfortunately, we cannot offer any travel expenses, so please only retweet if you’re able to attend! Full terms and conditions are at the bottom of this post.
If you’d rather not hedge your bets, you can buy tickets to the Q&A and screening over yonder. Keep your eyes on The Ghoul‘s Twitter and Facebook pages for further screening events, and check the list below for the current locations the film will be screening this month.
