Baby’s back for #5for5
Matt Lucas has revived the character of George Dawes for a one-off charity campaign video in aid of #5for5.

Theirworld’s global campaign is aiming to change how the the world thinks about early childhood development. They believe all young children should have access to the care they need, including nutrition, health, learning, play and protection, so they stand the best chance of growing up to be, well, to be anything they want.
That’s why their #5for5 campaign is all about taking small actions, which could have a big impact. It’s all about giving people a way to stand up for children who haven’t quite mastered standing yet.
And to do that, they’ve revived George Dawes – Lucas’ points-counting madman from Shooting Stars – to help get the message across. The onesie wearing big baby appeared on the panel show from 1995 to 1997, again in 2002, and for one last series in 2009, before being replaced by Dan Skinner‘s Angelos Epithemou for the show’s final two series.
