RHLSTP for Skinner & Brand
The ever-brilliant Richard Herring returns to Leicester Square Theatre for his live podcast series RHLSTP next week, and TVO regulars Dan Skinner and Katy Brand are amongst this season’s special guests.

We’re big admirers of not only Richard Herring’s output over the last 25 years, but also his ethos – both championing the underdogs and ensuring audiences get a fair deal, as well as having a regular charity collection box at his shows, and annually saving International Women’s Day from social media idiots for good measure. In recent years, he’s been working increasingly with ‘our lot’ too, which gives us an ample excuse to cover the work of a man who helped shape the alternative comedy scene we know and love today.
The smash hit podcast shows he’s been running since 2012 feature the stand-up veteran and former Fist of Fun and TMWRNJ star discussing the art of comedy with some of the biggest names in the business, recorded in front of a packed audience at the Leicester Square Theatre, then releasing the results online via British Comedy Guide, Go Faster Stripe and/or YouTube.
Since the show began, 134 installments across ten series have been released, with previous TVO related guests including Stewart Lee, Armando Iannucci, Graham Linehan, Rob Delaney, Steve Pemberton, Reece Shearsmith, Mike Wozniak, Steve Coogan, Rebecca Front, Bob Mortimer, Lou Sanders, Sharon Horgan, Jessica Hynes, Diane Morgan, Sarah Kendall, Aisling Bea, Cariad Lloyd, Tony Law, Vic Reeves and Tom Davis. So if you haven’t dived in yet, these are essential listening, offering a unique glimpse into the minds of some of our favourite people, hosted by one of our favourite people for good measure.
This years run begins on 5th June, and continues every Monday until 24th July. Guests are confirmed as follows:
5th June: Joe Thomas and Paul Merton
12th June: Jessica Knappett and Adam Buxton – SOLD OUT
19th June: Zoe Lyons and Andrew Collins
26th June: Dan Skinner and David Baddiel
3rd July: Katy Brand and Julian Clary
10th July: Arthur Smith and Limmy
17th July: Brendon Burns and Craig Quartermaine
24th July: Sara Pascoe and Ed Byrne

These shows are guaranteed to sell out, so book early to avoid disappointment, and if you can’t make it, keep your eyes on Richard’s very active Twitter profile for the episodes going live. We’ve popped the latest TVO related episode, featuring Tom Davis, below, as a juicy taster… enjoy.
