Austentatious consists of gifted improv performers including TVO regulars Cariad Lloyd and Rachel Parris, along with Amy Cooke-Hodgson, Andrew Hunter Murray, Charlotte Gittins, Daniel Nils Roberts, Graham Dickson and Joseph Morpurgo.
The group’s tour will kick off on October 14th in Leeds and then visit Didcot, Hampshire, Shrewsbury, Swindon, Devon, Bath, Maidenhead, Northampton, Southport, Bristol and Norwich. Buy your tickets here.
The tour organiser says: “Performed in period costume with live musical accompaniment, this is a Regency treat guaranteed to delight Austen novices and die-hard fans alike.”
If you’re London based, you can see Austentatious at the Leicester Square Theatre on May 21st and June 11th, and they will also be heading to the Edinburgh Fringe in August.
And on BBC Radio 4 in June, Austentatious are treating us to a special one-off radio show marking 200 years since Jane Austen’s death.
