The London-Irish Abortion Rights Campaign has organised Stand Up for Choice – a comedy night in aid of the Abortion Rights Campaign and the Abortion Support Network.

Stand Up for Choice takes place at the London Irish Centre on Tuesday March 28th at 7.30pm. Graham Linehan will be introducing the event and Tiffany Stevenson is the MC. Also on the bill are Aisling Bea, Sara Pascoe, Nish Kumar, Eleanor Tiernan, Grainne Maguire, Jarlath Regan, Stuart Black and Wendy Wason, with even more acts still to be announced.

All proceeds from the event will go to:

The Abortion Rights Campaign – campaigning for free, safe, legal abortion by fundraising, lobbying, direct action, establishing partnerships with relevant people and organisations and building awareness through media and communication.

The Abortion Support Network – providing financial assistance, accommodation, and confidential, non-judgmental information to women forced to travel from Ireland and pay privately for abortions in England.
