Tom Davis on Drunk History

Murder In Successville‘s Tom Davis will be telling us all about Shakespeare on the next series of Drunk History.

The show in which drunk comedians try to recount events from history will return for its third series on Comedy Central from Wednesday 8th March.

Here’s what we know about the new series so far:

Episode 1 – Chris O’Dowd and Alexander Armstrong star in Joel Dommett’s drunken Dambusters, while the Impractical Jokers take on a presidential disaster starring Joe Thomas and Joe Wilkinson.

Episode 2 – Michelle Keegan and Joel Fry act out Lydia Rose Bewley and Jess Knappett’s tale of royal rivalry (Queen Elizabeth I vs. Mary Queen of Scots) and James ‘Murr’ Murray blasts through Billy the Kid with Mat Horne and Mat Baynton.

Episode 3 – Russell Kane tells the story of King Arthur and Iain Stirling delivers ‘Real Chariots Of Fire’.

Episode 4 – Joe Lycett talks about The Great Train Robbery, whilst Kerry Howard reminisces about Beatrix Potter.

Episode 5 – Luisa Omielan recounts the story of Emmeline Pankhurst and Tom Rosenthal looks at the life of Henry V.

Episode 6 – Adam Buxton talks about King Alfred and Phil Wang teaches us about Isaac Newton.

Episode 7 – Tom Parry takes on the story of John Logie Baird, and there’s a repeat of Rick Edwards explaining The Christmas Truce in the show’s 2016 festive special.

Episode 8 – Operation Mincemeat is Miles Jupp’s topic, whilst Judi Love talks about Cromwell killing King Charles I.

Episode 9 – Tom Davis talks about Shakespeare and Daniel Sloss recounts William Wallace’s story.
