While we eagerly count down the days until the new series of Catastrophe, word has reached us from our US cousins that Sharon Horgan‘s Irish lilt has graced the new series of our favourite cartoon, Adventure Time!

Season 8 started airing in the US on 23rd January, with the episodes featuring  Sharon (episodes 12, 13 and 14 of the latest series) airing on 1st and 2nd February. She plays the role of Fin’s mother, Minerva Campbell, a nurse, who had lost Fin and his father many years before.

She isn’t the first TVO-connected person to voice a character on Adventure Time; Rich Fulcher has also lent his dulcet tones to the show in Season 3, in the episode ‘Apple Thief’.

We haven’t been able to find out when Season 8 will be waiting in the UK, but we’ll let you know as soon as we know.
