Radio Pilot from Cardinal Burns with Julian Barratt
In March, BBC Radio 2 will showcase a selection of comedy pilots, including one from Cardinal Burns with Julian Barratt.

Cardinal Burns Presents Dean And Murf is a new multi-character comedy from writer-performers Cardinal Burns, directed by Julian Barratt. It stars Seb Cardinal and Dustin Demri-Burns playing a roll call of different characters and the cast also features David Earl, Chris Hayward and Julian Barratt himself.
Here’s the synopsis:
Ex-ravers Dean and Murf live on a dilapidated houseboat on the Regents Canal. Four years in arrears on their mooring fees, they are forced to visit the job centre, which leads them on a surreal adventure working as factory workers on a Ken Loach film.
Cardinal Burns Presents Dean And Murf will air Wednesday 22nd March at 10.30pm on BBC Radio 2.
The other comedy pilots airing on BBC Radio 2 throughout March are Parental Guidance starring Romesh Ranganathan and Amanda Abbington, The Gentlemen’s Club starring Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse, Just Grand starring Siobhan Finneran and Jason Watkins, Tim Vine Travels In Time produced by Baby Cow and Barbara Nice starring Janice Connolly.
