Matt Berry will be part of a stellar lineup for the newly-announced feature film, An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn.

Fellow cast members for the offbeat movie include Aubrey Plaza, Craig Robinson, Emile Hirsch and Flight of the Conchords’ Jemaine Clement.

The film is the next project from the director of The Greasy Strangler, Jim Hosking (a film deemed worthy of twitter comment by man of few words, Julian Barratt). An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn follows the story of Lulu Danger, whose unsatisfying marriage takes a turn for the worse when a mysterious man from her past comes to town to perform a strange event called ‘An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn; For One Magical Night Only’.

Filming has just started in Eureka, California, with Rook Films, co-founded by Ben Wheatley, involved in its production. As yet there’s no information about Matt’s role, or the film’s release date. We’ll keep you posted as/when we know more.
