“What are the ties that bind you to reality? When Ben loses his wife and is stalked by an amorphous presence, he is about to find out.” Black Shore is a 20-minute film about a mother who vanishes in mysterious circumstances and it becomes increasingly apparent that something supernatural is behind her disappearance.
The sci-fi horror short has the brilliant Gemma Whelan on board, along with Matthew Steer whose face will probably be most familiar to TVO readers from Drunk History. Music for the film is provided by Joshua Hayward and Tom Furse – band members of The Horrors, not to mention guest stars in The Mighty Boosh episode The Chokes!
The film’s creators are now looking for funding through Kickstarter to support the production stage, and rewards for contributors include a digital download of the soundtrack, your name on the film’s credits, a poster signed by the cast, tickets to a VIP screening and even the chance to be in the film as an extra.
