The programmes shortlisted for the 2017 Broadcast Awards have been announced, and some TVO favourites of the year are among them.

In the Best Comedy Programme category, nominations include Camping – the dark comedy from Julia Davis about a camping trip from hell – along with series two of Channel 4’s Catastrophe and BBC Three’s Murder In Successville.

Flowers has been nominated in the Best Original Programme category… a rather eclectic category which also features Naked Attraction and Dickensian! A second series of Flowers has been commissioned for next year. Horrible Histories has also received a nod in the Best Children’s Programme category.

The winners will be announced in a ceremony on February 1st 2017. See the full list of nominations here.
