Love In Recovery and Julia Davis’ Couples are among the nominations for Best Scripted Comedy at the BBC Audio Awards.

The winners are set to be announced in a ceremony at the BBC Radio Theatre on January 29th 2017.

Love In Recovery is a BBC Radio 4 comedy drama about a group of recovering alcoholics. The enviable cast features TVO regulars Rebecca Front and Paul Kaye, as well as John Hannah (Marley’s Ghosts), Sue Johnston (The Royle Family), Eddie Marsan (The World’s End) and Julia Deakin (Spaced). A third series was recently announced by the BBC.

Couples is a BBC Radio 4 comedy show created by Julia Davis and Marc Wootton. Across the semi-improvised series, the pair play various couples in therapy, with Vicki Pepperdine (Camping) playing their therapist.
