Manchester Book Signing For Partridge
Alan Partridge is making the trip from Norwich to Manchester to launch his new travel book. Expect to see Steve Coogan somewhere in the vicinity too.
Steve’s alter ego will be at Waterstones Deansgate on 25th October to sign copies of his new book Alan Partridge: Nomad.
Alan’s third tome recounts his attempt to complete a journey of immense personal significance around the British Isles. Diarising his pilgrimage in the form of a ‘journey journal’, Alan details the people and places he encounters, ruminates on matters large and small and, on a final leg fraught with danger, becomes a person who he believes to be “a better, more inspiring example of a man”.
The book has been co-written with Rob and Neil Gibbons, the team behind I, Partridge and Mid-Morning Matters), and will be available in hardback, Kindle and audio book editions from October 20th.
If you fancy going along to meet Alan/Steve at the Manchester Waterstones signing, please note the strict guidelines outlined on the bookshop’s website (also detailed below). And woe betide anyone who has the gaul to buy three books and request a posed photo…
- Only copies of Alan Partridge: Nomad will be signed, no memorabilia or other books.
- There will be no posed photography at this event; selfies during the signing are permitted.
- Books are limited to two copies per customer, one of which may be dedicated with name only.
- This isn’t a ticketed event; it will be first come first served, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment. The signing officially begins at 12 noon (not great scheduling if you have work to go to).
