With news of Mel & Sue’s departure from The Great British Bake Off in the midst of a controversial buy-out, the duo are going to be looking for fresh work opportunities soon – so they may want to look ahead to see what their alter-egos do in Morgana Robinson‘s long awaited new series The Agency – which will launch at the end of September.

The series features the House of Fools star taking on a variety of celebrity guises, including the aforementioned duo alongside Miranda Hart, Joanna Lumley, Adele, Natalie Cassidy and Russell Brand: all talent on the roster of an agency, and all played by Morgana herself.

Also on board in supporting roles across the run are Gemma Whelan, Seb Cardinal, Matt Berry, Tony Way, Cariad Lloyd and many more familiar faces, while the writing staff includes Murder in Successville‘s Nico Tatarowicz for good measure.

Episode One airs at 10pm on Monday 26th September via BBC Two, and will be available on iPlayer shortly after transmission. We’ll be bringing you a preview of the show in the next few days, so stay peeled.
