Sensations is the first single from the former Boosh collaborator’s sublime third solo album Anti Love Songs which was released earlier this year via Bandcamp. The track features regular collaborator Anne Marie Kirby on violins, as well as guest appearances from Emma Price and Pablo Sosa, whilst the multi-talented Mr Cook handles guitars, bass, synths, programming and good ol’ fashioned vox for good measure.

The video, directed by Valquire Veljkovic, sees James go a little Max Headroom on us – jittering in and out of digital existince. There’s an ethereal quality to the rest of the video, so the impressive effects shots are made all the more vibrant. All in all, a great little piece for a fantastic song. See for yourselves below.

If you like what you hear, you can pick up the album – and James’ entire back catalogue (including his work in Nemo) – from his Bandcamp page over yonder. If you’re still not sure (and we’re baffled if that’s the case), you can also hear several tracks from the album below. Go get some.
