Simonsen Is A Shambles
Norwegian comedian, Daniel Simonsen, is doing a residency at Club Shambles in August.
The comic is probably best know for his role as Bob Mortimer’s unloving son, Erik, in House of Fools, but he also happens to be a fantastic live act in his own right.
You can catch him every day at Club Shambles, Aces & Eights, in North London’s Tufnell Park from 15th to 28th August. His show starts at 7.45pm each night, tickets cost £8 (Sun-Thurs)/£10 (Fri & Sat) and can be procured here.
Club Shambles has hosted a few TVO faces over time and Mr Shambles himself, Harry Deansway, was responsible for one of our favourite ever comedy nights, hosted by Rich Fulcher: the legendary Fulchfest. So if you’re in the neighbourhood, it’s well worth checking it out. To find out more about what else is on visit the club’s listing page.
Finally, here’s a snippet of Mr Simonsen in action, so you can see if he’s up your street (clue: he should be):
