The show is presented by legendary comedy producer John Lloyd, bringing together the most interesting people in the universe and asking them to submit one item each to fill the Museum’s empty plinths which they find curious.

Each season features a different guest curator, who gets to make the final decision as to what cuts the mustard, whilst throwing in questions, curveballs and related facts. It almost feels like a job that’s been waiting for Noel all his life!

Fielding follows in the footsteps of Bill Bailey, Sean Lock, Jon Richardson, Dave Gorman, Jimmy Carr, Humphrey Ker, Phill Jupitus and last season’s Sarah Millican. Previous guests on the ‘Advisory Committee’ have included Graham Linehan and Matt Lucas, so we’ll keep you posted if anyone from ‘our lot’ turns up.

According to the good folk at The British Comedy Guide, Series 9 will be recorded at the BBC Radio Theatre in London from the 2nd May. Tickets will be released shortly, and the new series is expected to be broadcast on Radio 4 from the 29th July 2016.
