One of our favourite films of 2015, Steve Oram‘s dystopian simian punk vision, Aaaaaaaah!, will be out on DVD and Blu-ray on Monday 18th January.

Previously only available via VOD, the cult film sees its actors (a phenomenally strong cast featuring a bevy of TVO-connected folk: Steve himself, Tom Meeten, Julian Barratt, Sean Reynard, Waen Shepherd, Noel Fielding, Alice Lowe and Tony Way – plus Toyah Willcox and Julian Rhind-Tutt in fine form), grunting at each other like apes, as they play out a primitive iteration of modern society.

Clever, compelling and inventive; a must-see for anyone who likes their entertainment to be anything but run-of-the-mill.

The DVD includes the following extras:

• Insightful audio commentary with Steve
• An interview with the cast
• Carolla Cooks –  a 10 minute version of the cooking show you see at the beginning of the film with Shelley Longworth.
• PUB! – The full 5 minute version of the sitcom that the characters are watching at the end of the film, starring Tony Way and Alice Lowe

The DVD is on sale for £7.99 and Blu-ray for £11.99; now available to pre-order via the usual retailers for Monday’s release.
