Dark comedy fantasy film Set the Thames on Fire, which features Noel Fielding amongst its cast, will be premiering at the 2016 Palm Springs International Festival.
Director Ben Charles Edwards’ debut feature follows the story of two boys who fall through the clockwork of a flooded, macabre London, as they try to survive and escape – and find hope. On a quest to sail for Egypt, the pair embark on a series of increasingly bizarre and perilous adventures in the underbelly of the city, encountering a host of extraordinary characters along the way. The cast also includes Sadie Frost, Sally Phillips, Lily Loveless and Michael Winder and Max Bennett as the two main protagonists. Noel plays the part of Dickie.
Set the Thames on Fire can be seen on the afternoons of 8th and 10th January at the film festival in Palm Springs, but be quick because there are only a few left for the first date. For further details and to book the $13 tickets click here.
