Morgana Robinson will be bringing her mimicry to BBC Two in a brand new sketch series next year.

Impressions of Fame will feature the star of House of Fools and Psychobitches star as Joanna Lumley, Mel & Sue, Gregg Wallace, Miranda Hart, Alan Davies, Natalie Cassidy, Danny Dyer, Russell Brand and Fearne Cotton amongst others – and she’ll be joined by “a starry cast of comedians and actors” who will play her creations friends, family and entourage.

We first heard of the show late in 2014 when Morgana told TVO a tiny bit about the non-broadcast pilot she was planning for early 2015, and now Chortle have confirmed that the series will air on BBC Two next Autumn.

Ben Palmer, last behind the lens on Sun Trap but also responsible for Bad Sugar, House of Rooms and Star Stories, will direct for his own Happy Tramp Productions.
