The US première date for Doll & Em‘s second series has been confirmed for mid September.
The show, written by and starring Dolly Wells alongside Emily Mortimer, will air on HBO from September 13th. Episode One will air at 10:30pm.
A co-production between HBO and Sky Atlantic, the series recently aired on the latter, UK based channel, and is currently available on catch-up to UK viewers via Sky Go and Now TV.
Series Two featured Wells and Mortimer once again playing fictionalised versions of themselves, as they attempted to stage their own off-Broadway play. It featured Hollywood actresses Olivia Wilde and Evan Rachel Wood, alongside returning co-star Jonathan Cake, plus guest appearances by Ewan McGregor and Harvey Weinstein.
Sadly, there’s currently no sign of a home media release for either run, though the first series was released on DVD in Australia last year, and is available now via The Velvet Onion Amazon Store.
If you’re in the States and want to catch up on the first series, which featured guest appearances by TVO regulars Tom Meeten, Laura Patch and Noel Fielding, you can now do so via subscription service HBO Go.
