Ever since Stuart Silver‘s days as one half of Noble and Silver, and his Darkplace bit-part work, we’ve had a special soft spot for him, brought back to the fore when he totally killed it in his support slot for The Mighty Boosh at Soho Theatre a couple of years ago. So it was rather lovely to come across this short film in which he talks about his role in Richard Ayoade’s The Double.

It’s only 5 minutes long, but that’s plenty of time for Stuart to apply his deadpan humour to Jessie Eisenberg, to Jessie’s body double (we’re still not entirely sure if he’s in on the joke or not…), and to the character of “waiter”, whom Stuart plays in the movie. What’s more, you get a fascinating, if fleeting, glimpse behind the scenes of The Double – which is pretty awesome in itself.
