Tracy-Ann Oberman Joins New Tricks
New Tricks is soon to welcome a few new faces as the show begins its twelfth, and final, series. Amongst these new stars is the wonderful Tracy-Ann Oberman, who featured in the programme for one episode back in 2014, as forensic pathologist, Fiona Kennedy.
The detective drama began way back in with a 90-minute episode in 2003, before becoming a full series in 2004, and she has said that she is, “Delighted to be a part of the final series for such a well-loved show – especially playing a feisty, smart woman like Fiona.” The revived cast will also include another previous Eastenders actor, Larry Lamb, alongside the regular UCOS team, Tamzin Outhwaite, Denis Lawson and Nicholas Lyndhurst.
The ten-episode series is being filmed as we speak, and is set to air on BBC1 later this year.
Don’t forget that you can also see Tracy-Anne Oberman in the play, McQueen, which begins previews at the St. James Theatre from 12 May. An imaginative dramatisation of the life of Brit fashion designer, Alexander McQueen, she plays the part of the iconic fashionista, Isabella Blow, who was instrumental in McQueen’s career.
