James Wren is directing a series of short comedy plays at The Hen & Chickens theatre in North London later this month.

This latest venture from the co-writer and star of The Day They Came To Suck Our Brains!, the (fantastically funny) web series, comes in the form of “bittersweet” dramatic comedies entitled the Acts Of Redemption, originally written by Ken Jaworowski.

These plays are set to be truly unique, as James Wren presents to us funny performances with a sobering undertone.

Starring TVO regulars, Neil Cole (Man Vs. Ride, Stag Hunt) and Phil Whelans (The Day They Came To Suck Our Brains!, My First Planet), the productions kick off with the first instalment next Tuesday, on January 13th, and run up to January 24th (with nine dates in total over that period).
