Sharon Horgan will be returning to television next year with a new sitcom pilot for Channel 4.

Entitled Catastrophe, it marks the second major collaboration between Horgan and comedian Rob Delaney following their BBC Comedy viral smash, Kinky Sex, late last year.

The one-off pilot, produced by Adam Tandy who was responsible for The Thick Of It, could follow in the steps of Man Down and Toast Of London and become a full series commission.
