Details around Chris O’Dowd‘s cameo appearance in forthcoming Marvel blockbuster Thor: The Dark World have emerged.

During an interview with IndieWire last year, Chris mentioned he was involved in Thor, saying:  “I didn’t think there was any way that I could be in a superhero movie, so I’ve done a scene in the new Thor movie, just for that.  I just do like one scene, which was quite fun.”

Now photos have emerged, including the one you see above, which show him on a date with Natalie Portman’s character, Jane Foster, in London’s famous OXO Tower.

It adds a lovely touch of TVO goodness to what is bound to be one of the biggest box-office successes of the Autumn, upon release in the UK on October 30th, and in the US on November 8th.

Once again starring Chris Hemsworth Tom Hiddleston and Anthony Hopkins, the movie follows the 2011’s Thor and last year’s The Avengers (not the real Avengers with Steed!), and sees the titular character battle a goblin-looking Christopher Eccleston.  You can see the trailer below.
