Berry & The Bluetone

Matt Berry appeared live in session with regular collaborator Mark Morriss this weekend on Radio 2.
Berry has been working with the former frontman for The Bluetones for a number of years now, with Mark even accompanying Matt on his recent UK tour, and appearing in the video to Medicine. He also contributed to the Kill The Wolf album.
Matt recently returned the favour by appearing on Morriss’ forthcoming solo album A Flash Of Darkness – playing harmonium on a cover of The Shins’ track Pink Bullets.
The album was initially released in limited form via PledgeMusic earlier this year, but will be available on Mark’s website as a standalone cd very soon.
Saturday saw the duo guest on Dermot O’Leary’s show on BBC Radio 2, with help from another Kill The Wolf/Berry Band veteran, Cecilia Fage. Guest host Steve Lamacq interviewed Matt, and the trio played tracks from his latest album during the last third of the show, starting at 2 hours and 20 minutes into the iPlayer link over yonder.
If you don’t yet own Kill The Wolf, you can buy it on cd and vinyl from The Velvet Onion Amazon UK Store now!
