Noel Fielding has been announced as a guest at a charity stand-up event in Los Angeles later this year.

The event at The Comedy Store will be in aid of Drop In The Bucket, who aim to build clear water wells in Africa.

Noel will be sharing the bill with US comic Bobcat Goldthwait (who almost sounds like one of his own characters!), and a special guest yet to be announced.

Tickets for the event on 18th October are available now for just $30, right over yonder.

Of course, the following day sees The Mighty Boosh appear at Festival Supreme on Santa Monica Pier, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for the possibility of more surprise gigs from Noel and/or the Boosh themselves.

UK fans can console themselves with the possibility of warm-up shows ahead of these events, but we’ll have more news on those happening, *IF* they happen, nearer the time.
