Steve Oram is part of the ensemble cast of forthcoming BBC2 period-drama The Wipers Times.

Written by Private Eye editor Ian Hislop alongside Nick Newman, the series is set in the bombed-out ruins of Ypres in 1916, and stars Monty Python legend Michael Palin, alongside Emilia Fox, Ben Chaplin, Green Wing‘s Julian-Rhind Tutt and our man Oram.

Based on the true story of real life satirical trench newspaper The Wipers Times which boosted morale during World War 1, the series will air on BBc2 later this year.
