Boosh Added To Festival Line-Up
The news is already spreading around the web like wildfire, but in case you haven’t heard it yet, The Mighty Boosh have seemingly been added to the line-up page of the Festival Supreme website.

The boys are said to be reuniting for a performance at the festival hosted by Tenacious D at Santa Monica Pier on 19th October. After weeks of “will they, won’t they?” guesswork, people are understandably getting pretty excited about the announcement. The Boosh last performed together at the Zappa plays Zappa concert at the Camden Roundhouse in 2010.
Note, of course, the line-up is subject to change and we have been unable to confirm that this is definitely happening from the boys directly. It is looking likely, but the focus for at least some of the Boosh right now is Luxury Comedy. Nevertheless we’re crossing our fingers on behalf of US fans that it’s going to happen, (and UK fans if warm-up events become a possibility…and every one of us if it leads to more Boosh!). We can but hope!

Tickets are $99 (standard) or $250 (VIP) and go on sale this Friday 14th June at 10am PST through Ticketmaster. Pre-sale tickets are also available from 10am on Wednesday, June 12th by using password SUPREME.

Oh my goodness me. I genuinely thought that the Boosh were a distant memory and (all being well, presuming this will be officially confirmed at some stage) I’m so glad to be proved wrong. Is it too much to hope that this is the start of Boosh 2.0? The dream team back together again. I started out in this fandom and on the old proboards forum when I was 14 and now I’m 20 and I’m not ashamed to say that I am almost weeping with joy. I feel like a young teenager again. I hope the boys do officially confirm in the next few weeks. Very excited, to say the least. Thanks for the info TVO£

Tickets procured. This makes me incredibly happy. The Mighty Boosh have been one of those forces that continues to remind me to be silly and not give a flying fuck about what anyone else thinks. Can’t wait to see them live.
