Comedy fans in the London area can start getting excited now with two forthcoming shows from Spank! at Udderbelly Southbank which feature artists who we cover at The Velvet Onion.

On Friday, 7th June the Spank! line-up features performaces from Rufus Jones and Alex Kirk, along with sets from Isy Suttie, Vikki Stone, David Armand and Rhys Mathewson.

Then on 5th July the show features Tony Law and Hot Brew (the magnificent Alice Lowe and Antony Elvin), plus Phil Nichol and Anil Desai.

If a further TVO conenction were needed, these shows are the latest output from new wave comedy legend James Wren (of Hen & Chickens fame and 2012’s TVO Live!) – so you know you’re going to be in for a good night. What’s more, there’s also a show tonight which is also worth seeing (for a reduced ticket price no less!)
