Sharon Horgan features in a new film, Run and Jump, which premieres at the Tribeca Festival in New York.
The Irish-German co-production, directed by Oscar-nominated Steph Green, is based on an original screenplay by Ailbhe Keogan. It follows the story of a spirited Irish woman who struggles to rebuild her family when her husband returns home after suffering a stroke that has left his personality fundamentally changed. She finds comfort in an American ethnographer sent to document the recovery process. Actress Maxine Peake plays the lead part, while Horgan plays the role of her friend, Tara, in the film.
