Richard Sandling‘s latest Squat Betty spoken word night looks set to be a corker, with some familiar guest stars.

The show fuses poetry, storytelling, sketch and character comedy with music, book readers, lectures and, of course, stand-up.  MC Sandling will attempt to write at least one new poem in any metre and on any theme during the night, and will be joined by none other than Steve Oram, Game of Thrones star Gemma Whelan, Peter Buckley Hill and Never Mind The Buzzcocks star Phill Jupitus – reviving his infamous Porky The Poet routine!

With tickets only £5, the show tomorrow evening (Monday, 8th April) takes place at The Duchess Of Cambridge on London’s Goldhawk Road.

Entry can be bought upon the door, and stay peeled for further Sandling events in the coming weeks,  including his guest appearance in future episodes of The Day They Came To Suck Out Our Brains – which were filmed this week alongside Pros From Dover star Sean Garratt.
