Tony Law is one of a number of big names at Sky’s The Cat Laughs Comedy Festival in Ireland this Summer – and those attending can be the first to see a new episode of Moone Boy too!
The festival takes place across five days – from Thursday, May 30th to Monday, June 3rd – in Kilkenny, and will feature some of the finest names in comedy.
Amongst those is TVO’s very own Tony Law, who’ll be bringing his surrealist charms to Langton’s Ballroom on May 31st and June 2nd.
On the first night, he’ll be joined by David O’Doherty, Bec Hill and Anthony King, whereas his second evening sees him share the bill with Hill, Barry Murphy, Fred Cooke and Dead Boss and Fit star Aisling Bea. For more info on his shows, including ticket links, click here!
With the likes of Dylan Moran, Abandoman, Rich Hall, Simon Munnery, Holly Walsh and many more on the bill, it’s guaranteed to be a great festival – and it now has the added bonus of the worldwide première of Moone Boy Series 2!

The award winning sitcom written by and starring Chris O’Dowd will be on show, alongside a cast and crew Q&A featuring Chris and his co-writer Nick Vincent Murphy, with more guests to be announced.
Tickets for this special event are available now, priced just €15. There’s currently no news on a definite air date for the new series, so if you’re a) in Ireland and b) desperate to see more of Martin Moone and his imaginary friend Sean Murphy, there’s no excuse for you not to be here.
Don’t forget that Series One is currently available on dvd via The Velvet Onion Amazon Store, now for the measly sum of just £7.75! You can read our preview of Episode One right here, and for the full line-up of artists, shows and events at The Cat Laughs, pop over yonder now!
