Here at TVO, we have a huge soft spot for The Thick of It. We haven’t mentioned the show nearly as much as we should have: after all, most of it’s run was before The Velvet Onion was ‘planted’, and last year’s final run got an awful lot of publicity without us…

But it’s fair to say if you haven’t checked it out yet, you’re missing out on something vital. Created by The Day Today veteran Armando Iannucci, the political satire’s 24 episodes are quintessential television, and that’s even before we get into the TVO stars who have appeared in the run, including Justin Edwards, Alex MacQueen and Rebecca Front.

Now one the show’s biggest stars, Chris Addison, is raffling a unique book of scripts from series 1&2 and the specials, in aid of Comic Relief.

The script is signed by the cast and writers including Iannucci, Edwards and Front, alongside Peter Capaldi, James Smith, Jo Scanlan, Roger Allam, Olivia Poulet, Will Smith, Vincent Franklin, Tony Gardner, Simon Blackwell & Tony Roche. And, of course, Addison himself.
