Matt Berry will be undertaking his first UK tour in two and a half years this May.
The comic actor turned fully fledged musician will be playing up and down the country in aid of his forthcoming third album proper. The release is pencilled in for the spring, following 2009’s Witchazel and 2005’s Opium.
Matt’s tour will take in The Fleece in Bristol on Sunday, 12th May; The Kazimier in Liverpool on Tuesday, 14th May; The Ruby Lounge in Manchester on Wednesday, 15th May and the O2 Academy Islington in London on Saturday, 18th May.
Tickets for the first three shows are on sale now, with the London show going on sale on Wednesday. For an archive look back at his last UK tour in November 2010, check out this archive review from Manchester’s Sound Control venue.
We’ll bring you more news on the new album as soon as we can, so stay peeled. In the meantime, revisit the glorious Snuffbox–esque video for Take My Hand below.
