Strung Out In Heaven’s High…

As the world goes absolutely barmy for the brand new David Bowie track (and rightly so!), TVO’s very own James Cook has put his own unique spin on a classic track by the Thin White Duke.

A teaser out-take from his up-coming covers album, which will be released for free across a number of weeks, this version of Bowie’s 1981 chart-topper Ashes To Ashes features Cook’s regular collaborator Anne Marie Kirby and The Dollhouse Strings – Kirby and Ed Bruggemeyer on violin, Charlie Stock on viola and Terezie Kovalova on cello.  You can hear the results below.
