Today sees the launch of a brand new CBBC sketch show with a host of big name stars attached.
The team behind mega-smash Horrible Histories are unleashing Fit – a sports themed series which will hopefully fill that void left by the demise of Sorry, I’ve Got No Head and once again will feature TVO faces and a number of related performers.
Tony Way and Rufus Jones will both feature heavily, as will Dead Boss star and So You Think You’re Funny winner Aisling Bea. The likes of Humphrey Ker and Sara Pascoe are also on board, and the show is directed by none other than James Serafinowicz.
That latter connection has prompted James’ brother, Peter, to revive his incredibly popular Brian Butterfield character for the show – which is big enough news in itself to mark this show as a must-see, let alone all the other talent on offer!
Preview materials have been a little thin on the ground, but we’re sure this is going to be a show to treasure, so young or old get your faces glued to CBBC every Monday evening at 6:15pm – then go and get fit yourselves! In the meantime, prepare yourself for exercise by revisiting the Butterfield Diet from the sublime Peter Serafinowicz Show, below.
